Wish Alumni Community

Arlene then and now

Arlene's wish to be a princess was granted in 2013.

After your wish has been granted, we invite you to continue your wish journey as part of our Wish Alumni Community.

We believe that hope is medicine and that wishes have a lasting impact. A wish isn’t just a nice thing, but a necessary thing: a chance to focus on the family, build strength, and create hope for the future.

Part of the magic of a wish is sharing it with others.

Through the Wish Alumni Community, there are many ways to get involved—whether it be today or years down the road. You will be invited to share your experience with family members and friends, connect with us on social media, and pass along encouragement to others on their wish journey. We also offer the chance to meet other wish alumni in your community at events throughout the year.

The Lasting Power of a WISH

Nick, Chloe and Conner each had their wishes granted several years ago. These wish alumni, who now serve as volunteers, share why they continue to wish it forward, helping to grant wishes for even more Illinois children with critical illnesses.
