When Maysa was a baby, her parents had to use percussion cups on eight different locations on her body to break up the blockages in her lungs.
Today, Maysa uses a vest several times a day for that issue and takes a regimen of medications.
Maysa is known as a "true fighter who cares so much about others." She likes giving gifts, all shades of green, Fortnite, arts, crafts, dancing, singing, spending time with her family, and cows. She breeds cows for 4-H.
Although Maysa toyed with the idea of wishing for a cow of her very own, she decided to wish for a trip to Hawaii instead because she was looking forward to "spending time with my family, swimming with dolphins and seeing fish, turtles, etc." She also wrote that she wanted to have fun on the beach with her family.
Maysa's dreams of interacting with dolphins came true at Sea Life Park. She spent plenty of time on the beach, relaxing in the sand and surf with her parents. Before they left, Maysa and family enjoyed a gorgeous cruise at sunset. "It was absolutely perfect," said wish mom, Amanda.
