Dolphins, and horses, and elephants, oh my! Wish kid Jeremy is a sweet five-year-old from Charlotte with leukemia. Jeremy loves animals - especially elephants, horses, and dolphins! Besides being an animal lover, Jeremy also loves Pokémon, especially Pikachu, spaghetti, soccer, superheroes, chocolate, and reggaeton. He likes to play at the park, throw the ball with his dad, and scooter around his neighborhood… Needless to say, Jeremy lives quite the active life!

Jeremy’s leukemia diagnosis has meant long stays in the hospital, on top of the emotional and physical toll of treatments and doctors’ appointments. While Jeremy is surrounded by nothing but love from his family, this does not mean that treatment has not been a stressful and worrisome time for him and his family.

So, when asked about his wish, Jeremy knew one thing for sure—He wanted to go see dolphins! And what better place to do so than at Walt Disney World®, Disney’s Universal Studios®, and Sea World®? While there, he was not only able to see one of his favorite animals in-person, but also experience all the fun in the Disney parks and meet some pretty cool superheroes at Universal. Wow!

Wishes like Jeremy’s are essential to the treatment and recovery process for children with critical illnesses. Wishes provide much needed joy for children and families who are enduring the anxieties, stresses, and pains of critical illnesses.
