Wish kid Noah recently visited iHeart radio station, 99.7 The Fox. Noah was there to share his story and wish adventure with listeners with the goal to help more kids get their wish granted!
Read about Noah below and view a video with scenes of Noah's wish!
Wish kid Noah is a happy, active six-year-old from Statesville with chronic ventilator dependence. Noah loves being outside! You can find him jetting around on his tractor, playing with his cars, fishing, and playing with his dogs, Buddy and Holly. His favorite foods include mac n’ cheese, ice cream, fresh roasted s'mores, and dining at Olive Garden. The beach is Noah’s favorite place in the world for fun away from home.
Noah has a very rare disorder that causes difficulty breathing and additional medical ailments. Every week, he goes through extensive treatments with multiple hospital visits and doctors’ appointments. Due to his treatment and all the medical devices Noah needs, there are restrictions on air travel, which make it more difficult for him to get to his favorite place. So, Noah knew exactly what to wish for - A camper!
“They can all travel to Noah’s favorite places and easily tote all his medical equipment.”
Combined with his love for the outdoors and the flexibility and accommodation a camper would provide, this was the perfect wish for Noah and his family. Now, they can all travel to Noah’s favorite places and easily tote all his medical equipment. Noah was overjoyed at the sight of his very own camper, and we are so excited for all the places that Noah will be able to explore with his new ‘vehicle’!
Noah’s camper became a safe space for him and his family, a place that means fun and time away from the constant medical worries. His camper is a place where Noah can simply be a kid, full of silliness and wonder. Wishes provide hope and joy, not just to wish kids, but to families and communities too.
Wish Kid Noah is a happy camper!
