Noah's Wish
Noah, of Morgan, Vermont, has dealt with pulmonary and immune system issues for the entirety of his sixteen years. His wish—to have his own boat so he can get out on the water and fish with his brother—has been truly transformative.
A Vermont kid finds solace, and strength, on the water
Noah was born with a number of health conditions including bilateral bronchiectasis, tracheomalacia, and primary immune deficiency. Feeling sick and spending time in the hospital have always been part of his life.
For Noah, the outdoors has always been a place where he could forget his illness for a while and just enjoy life. Over the years he became an avid fisher and there is nothing he loves more than spending time on the water with his older brother.
When he found out he was getting a wish, Noah had lots of ideas: a trip on a famous fishing boat, something else, and finally he settled on one: his very own bass fishing boat, so he could spend as much time as possible out on the lake.

A wish reveal to remember
Noah's Wish Granters got to work, finding a fishing boat and contacting local shops to source rods and tackle.
As local anglers learned about Noah's wish, they offered up everything they had: fishing rods, tackle, their expertise...
The day of Noah's wish reveal, he traveled to the Apple Island Marina thinking he was just going to be looking at boats. He and his family walked out onto the dock when suddenly the Vermont Game Warden piloted into view, announcing over the loudspeaker, "Happy wish day, Noah! Your wish is coming true!"
