Engage your community and help grant wishes by creating your own initiatives, projects and fundraisers to benefit Make-A-Wish Central & Western North Carolina. We offer opportunities for K-12 school students with Kids For Wish Kids and college students with Wishmakers on Campus.

The Kids For Wish Kids program engages students, schools and youth organizations in philanthropy and service activities in partnership with Make-A-Wish. The program encourages community service, leadership, volunteerism and teamwork. It builds team spirit and gives students hands-on experience fundraising to help create life-changing wishes for kids fighting critical illnesses.
Kids For Wish Kids puts kids in charge. They take the lead to brainstorm fundraising ideas, create action plans and manage everything from start to finish. Students can even combine their efforts for existing school events, such as Wish Week or field day.
Wishmakers On Campus is designed as a hands-on, student driven service-learning program benefiting Make-A-Wish Central & Western North Carolina. The program empowers college organizations, student governments, athletic teams and Greek organizations with ideas, objectives and tools to run a successful fundraiser and bring hope and joy to local children. By planning fundraisers, hosting events and raising donations for Make-A-Wish, participants can help fund life-changing wishes for children fighting critical illnesses.
When youth get involved in program leadership, students learn valuable skills such as leadership, organization, planning and budgeting that will be helpful in college, at work and beyond. Our goal is to help empower youth to work together, engage their communities, and raise vital funds to help make wishes come true for critically ill children. Students learn first-hand that their efforts can impact others and make a positive difference.
