Meet wish kid Kahlil, an 11-year-old boy who was diagnosed with a blood disorder as a newborn. Thanks to the amazing team at Levine Children's, Kahlil received a life-changing bone marrow transplant. In 2020, Kahlil was screened for the transplant process, and to everyone’s relief, his siblings Kabir and Kaavya were both a perfect match. Kahlil underwent the procedure and spent 45 days in the hospital, but it was all worth it because he is now cured of his blood disorder! We are moved by Kahlil’s older sister, Kaavya, who was 14-years-old at the time and volunteered to be his donor. We are so inspired by
