Jump, roll, flip...go, Caliana!
Meet wish kid Caliana: A bright, bubbly 7-year-old from Thomasville with epilepsy. She loves McDonalds, board games, swimming, scootering, and JoJo Siwa, but — above all — Caliana loves gymnastics!
Despite being diagnosed with epilepsy when she was just four months old, Caliana has never let that stop her from doing what she loves, including gymnastics. Wish mom Maria even says, “She’s been doing gymnastics by herself at home, by watching YouTube videos, for three or four years now.”
So, Caliana knew exactly what to wish for — A membership to a gymnastics facility! Now, she will not only be able to learn more skills and meet new friends, but her head will be protected by the mats, while also being under instructors’ thoughtful supervision. This will help prevent her from experiencing another seizure.
