Term: Fall 2026 (approx. September - December; ~15–20 hours/week, flexible)
Supervisor: Gwen Romeo, Director of Community Campaigns & Alumni Giving
Application Window: through August 31
Support Make-A-Wish® Central & Western North Carolina Director of Community Campaigns and Alumni Giving, including a golf tournament, alumni engagement, and Young Professionals event support. The intern will assist with logistics, research, outreach, sponsor/donation sourcing, and light on‑site support.

Golf tournaments: assist with planning, vendor/volunteer coordination, checklists, and day‑of support.

Marketing & promotion: research advertising channels; flyer local businesses; submit to online event calendars. Find calendar opportunities for community events to help increase outreach for events like Trunk or Treat.

Sponsorships: build a list of potential $500 hole sponsors; draft emails/call scripts; track outreach.

In-kind: help secure in kind donations and auction items; help maintain donation tracker and pickup logistics.

Alumni data & outreach: segment alumni lists, identify young professional–aged alumni, draft invites/updates.

Passion for Make-A-Wish® mission; strong communication and organization.

Comfortable with email/calls, light travel for flyering, and event support.

Experience with spreadsheets a plus (training provided).

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and track details.
