Meet wish kid Sara, a 15-year-old girl who likes to go out to eat and enjoys being outdoors. Like many kids her age, Sara loves pizza, chips, and chocolate cake. ​

On top of having a genetic disorder, Sara is non-verbal and is unable to indicate her needs or wants to anyone who does not know her well. Sara’s parents and siblings, however, know that the beach is her happy place. For that reason, Sara’s wish is to have an all-terrain beach wheelchair.​

Previous beach visits for Sara have been extremely challenging, as wheelchairs tend to sink and refuse to budge. An all-terrain chair will enable more mobility, freedom, and beautiful vistas for Sara. After several unplanned hospital admissions and surgeries in the last year, an extra tough time for Sara and her family, beach days will bring a deeply welcomed change of scenery.​

“Sara got to test out her new beach stroller this weekend. It worked perfectly and she absolutely loves it!” said Sara’s mom, Shirley. Honoring Sara’s love of the beach, sand, and water, this beach-friendly mobile chair enables more walks and beach trips with her family.​
