MAKE-A-WISH NORTH CAROLINA AND GOODRX PARTNER TO GRANT LIFE-CHANGING WISHES FOR CHILDREN WITH CRITICAL ILLNESSES

CHARLOTTE, NC – May 1, 2025 – Make-A-Wish® North Carolina is proud to announce a new partnership with GoodRx, the leading platform for medication savings in the U.S. This collaboration aims to raise $100,000 through the distribution of cobranded GoodRx prescription savings cards, directly supporting the granting of wishes for children battling critical illnesses across North Carolina.

Through this initiative, every time the cobranded GoodRx savings card is used at a pharmacy in North Carolina during the campaign period from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, GoodRx will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish North Carolina. If the total donations do not reach $100,000 by the end of the campaign, GoodRx has committed to contributing the difference to ensure the full amount is raised. These funds are expected to grant approximately 10 wishes, bringing hope and joy to children and their families during challenging times.

“This partnership with GoodRx is a testament to the power of community and compassion,” said Kathy Jetton, CEO of Make-A-Wish Central & Western North Carolina. “Together, we’re not just raising funds; we’re creating life-changing experiences for children who need them most. We’re incredibly grateful for GoodRx’s commitment to our mission.”

GoodRx will distribute the cobranded savings cards to local clinics and medical practices. A digital version of the savings card is also available for download at Goodrx.com/wish

“At GoodRx, we know how taxing it can be, both emotionally and financially, to treat a critical illness,” said Wendy Barnes, CEO and President of GoodRx. “Together, GoodRx and
Make-A-Wish can help alleviate some stress so kids and families can have the freedom to focus on their health. As a longtime supporter of Make-A-Wish, I’m honored we can support such a meaningful cause.”
