Charlotte-area Chick-fil-A® restaurants will host a fundraiser Monday, Feb. 8 through Saturday, Feb. 13 in support of Make-A-Wish® Central and Western North Carolina, an organization that grants life-changing wishes for children fighting critical illnesses. Participating restaurants will donate a portion of all mobile order sales placed from Feb. 8 through Feb. 13 to the organization.
“We are proud to support Make-A-Wish Central and Western North Carolina, an inspiring organization that provides critically ill children and their families with a spark of hope,” said Beckie Johnston, franchise Operator of Chick-fil-A Stonecrest at Piper Glen. “We hope the community will join us in supporting this deserving organization by placing a mobile order with any Charlotte-area Chick-fil-A restaurant.”
For children diagnosed with critical illnesses, granting a wish can make a big difference in their lives, giving them the strength to fight harder against their illnesses. Wishes give families hope through dark times, strength to persevere and experiences that forever change their lives. Today, Make-A-Wish has granted hundreds of thousands of life-changing wishes to children battling critical illnesses. With the help of generous donors and more than 45,000 volunteers worldwide, Make-A-Wish® has collectively granted nearly 500,000 wishes, making it the world’s largest wish-granting organization. Locally, Make-A-Wish Central & Western North Carolina has granted more than 5,300 life-changing wishes since its inception in 1985.
