What ways are you involved as a volunteer?
I volunteer as a Wish Granter. I also try to volunteer when a request for help is sent out by the office.

How did you first find Make-A-Wish?
My friend who has two wish kids told me that Make-A-Wish Minnesota needed volunteers.

How long have you been volunteering with Make-A-Wish Minnesota?
I have been with Make-A-Wish for three years.

What has been the most rewarding experience of volunteering with Make-A-Wish?
I’ve loved meeting the wish children and any interaction with their families.

What advice would you give to new volunteers?
It’s not as time-consuming as one might think. You have a partner that walks with you and the staff are very supportive.

What story would you share to inspire others to become a volunteer with Make-A-Wish?
The child and family are so grateful when they experience the wish! It’s incredibly heartwarming.
