What ways are you involved as a volunteer?
I am a wish granter and wish pal.

How did you first find Make-A-Wish? 
My daughter Kylie was granted a wish in 2019. We had the most magical trip and experience with Make-A-Wish. 

How long have you been volunteering with Make-A-Wish Minnesota?
Almost a year. 

What has been the most rewarding aspect of volunteering with Make-A-Wish?
The most rewarding experience happens each month when I send a wish boost. It totally fills my cup up knowing that these kids are getting happy mail on what could be some pretty gloomy days for some of them.

What advice would you give to new volunteers?
The first wish or two can seem overwhelming but if you have a great wish mentor, they will help you out every step of the way. You can learn so much from other wish granters. 

What story would you share to inspire others to become a volunteer with Make-A-Wish?
I haven’t done too many wishes from start to finish yet, but one that I did help with was a rush trip. It was such a rewarding experience knowing I was part of creating some of the best memories for this family during some of their hardest times.
