What ways are you involved as a volunteer?
I am a wish granter, have participated in airport meet and greets and shopping sprees.

How did you first find Make-A-Wish?
I was looking for ways to be engaged with helping others during Covid-19 and Make-A-Wish was the perfect fit!

How long have you been volunteering with Make-A-Wish?
This is my fourth year as a volunteer.

What has been the most rewarding aspect of volunteering with Make-A-Wish?
I just completed my first wish as a wish granter in February. I was fortunate enough to send him off on his trip at the airport and got to experience his excitement!

What advice would you give to new volunteers?
Push yourself out of your comfort zone and try new things with Make-A-Wish! This is where I have felt the most impact and truly seen how this organization can change lives!

What story would you share to inspire others to become a volunteer with Make-A-Wish?
The gratitude and love felt from the family of a wish child is something I will never forget. Experiencing excitement and a break from day-to-day life for our wish families is something you can't describe!
