Madilynn's wish celebrates her recovery
When Madi was 13-years-old she was diagnosed with stage four ovarian cancer. This caused her to have to endure tough medical treatments and procedures.
Her love for theater and musicals, particularly listening to the Hamilton soundtrack, helped her to not focus on the difficult medical treatments, but instead concentrate on the joy the music brought her. Now at 16-years-old, Madi has been in remission for a little over two years. Madi loved her wish to see musicals on Broadway. She was able to see Hamilton and Beetlejuice. She even got to interact with the cast after the shows and get autographs. Her mom said that the trip solidified Madi’s love for theater and her hopes to one day direct for her high school.
