Greyson's wish lets him explore his backyard

Greyson’s health journey with critical illness began when he was just an infant.

His family noticed that he was experiencing some motor skill and developmental delays. By the time he turned one, he needed to have brain surgery. Now five years old, Greyson will always need to be monitored regularly, but his family remains positive. “We had to change our entire outlook on his life and treatments to meet this head-on,” said his mom, Michele.

There are all kinds of wishes and ways Make-A-Wish impacts families! Greyson’s wish means our family home will enable Greyson to live and play fully.

Greyson loves to be outside but his steep backyard wasn’t accessible with his mobility needs. The yard was so challenging, it was difficult to find contractors willing to take on his backyard makeover project. Because of his wish, his yard now provides peace of mind to his family. “As we have settled into the pandemic and are home more often - we appreciate the unlimited things we are able to do in our yard,” Michele said.
