Announcing our new President & CEO!
We are pleased to announce Paul Krueger as our new President & Chief Executive Officer.
Paul comes with over 20 years of higher education and nonprofit experience including over seven years of impactful Make-A-Wish work as CEO of the South Dakota & Montana chapter. Paul also previously served as Director, Chapter Relationship Leader at Make-A-Wish America, where he partnered with 13 chapters across the country providing leadership advice on strategic planning, governance, and fundraising. He most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer of the South Dakota Mines Center for Alumni Relations and Advancement and under his leadership had two years of record-breaking fundraising. In addition, Paul is a Lions Club member and wish granter, as well as a father of three (Emily, Matthew, and Sarah).
Paul’s clear passion for the Make-A-Wish mission, along with his extensive related executive leadership background, made him a clear choice to lead the Minnesota Chapter. The Chapter is in a strong position for growth, and we believe Paul, working closely with our dedicated board, staff, and community of supporters, will help shape a strong future for the organization.
“I am excited to join the Make-A-Wish Minnesota family and am looking forward to working with our team, board members, volunteers, loyal supporters and our wish kids and their families,” Krueger said. “Together we will continue to grant quality wishes across Minnesota with the ultimate goal of making every eligible child’s wish come true. There is so much opportunity to engage even more people across the state and I look forward to helping elevate the importance of Make-A-Wish and our mission.”
Please join us in welcoming Paul and showing our gratitude to the Make-A-Wish Minnesota chapter, the search committee, and the Board of Directors who have supported our organization through this transition. A special thanks to our interim CEO, Charlotte Beattie, for her steadfast leadership and help laying a great foundation for Paul’s arrival. We are exceptionally well-positioned to continue to serve our wish children and families in such profound ways and to fulfill our vision of granting the wish of every medically eligible child in Minnesota.
