Event and Silent Auction Frequently Asked Questions

After the event closes on April 24, 2021

How will I collect my items?
Winning bidders will be contacted after the event with contactless pick-up information.  All items must be picked up from the Make-A-Wish Minnesota office in Saint Paul, MN.  All packages containing alcohol must be picked up by a person who is 21 years old or older.

What happens if I do not pick up my items?
Any item(s) left unclaimed after 30 days, without prior arrangements, will be sold and proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish Minnesota.

Will the Wish Ball program be available for viewing after April 24?
Yes, the video of the program will be available on our YouTube channel after the event.

Silent Auction Details

By bidding and/or purchasing an item in Make-A-Wish Minnesota auctions, each bidder/purchaser agrees to the following: 

• All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds unless otherwise noted.
• All items are "as is," and Make-A-Wish Minnesota assumes no liability whatsoever related to any auction items. Make-A-Wish Minnesota has attempted to describe and catalog items correctly, but neither warrants nor represents, and in no event shall be responsible for, the correctness of descriptions, or the genuineness, authorship, provenance or condition of the items. No statement or description made in the online catalog, or made orally at the auction or elsewhere, shall be deemed such a warranty or representation.
• The stated auction item value is an estimate of fair market value. Items have not been appraised unless so noted.
• Please pay careful attention to all conditions, restrictions and expiration dates on items and services. No exceptions or extensions on stated expirations will be granted. We appreciate your strict observance of these restrictions, as future donations depend upon it.
• Packages containing alcohol may not be shipped and must be picked up by an individual 21+ years of age with valid ID. You must be at least 21 years old to purchase any packages containing alcohol and/or tours of alcoholic establishments (distillery, brewery, etc.).
• All completed sales from this event are considered transactions solely between the purchaser and the donor of the auction item.  
• The winner must pick up item(s) from the Make-A-Wish Minnesota Saint Paul office. If shipping is requested, winner is responsible for all associated costs. Make-A-Wish Minnesota is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Any item(s) left unclaimed after 30 days, without prior arrangements, will be re-sold and proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish Minnesota.
• Make-A-Wish Minnesota reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the auction.
• Each person who bids and/or purchases an auction item assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and the auction item purchased. Each bidder/purchaser expressly agrees to hold harmless Make-A-Wish Minnesota, and its employees, directors and officers, elected and appointed officials, members, sponsors and volunteers, as well as the auctioneer(s), the auction company and its agents and employees, and the event organizers, from any liability for injuries to person or property arising from or related to an auction item.
