The Make-A-Wish Michigan Leadership Advisory Council (“LAC”) is a subcommittee of the Make-A-Wish Michigan Board of Directors, with a commitment to supporting and promoting the overall mission of Make-A-Wish Michigan through fundraising, recruiting volunteers, raising awareness and engagement of community members, and promoting the professional development of Michigan’s next generation of leaders. The LAC will support and promote the mission of Make-A-Wish through:

• Raising awareness and engagement among community members
• Fundraising
• Sourcing and developing volunteers
• Developing leadership skills and promoting networking opportunities

LAC members serve a maximum six (6) year consecutive term:  Initial term of three (3) years; and, ability to renew for another three (3) year term. Leadership positions are two (2) year terms.

Guiding all of these activities is the belief that whatever the odds, whatever the obstacles…wishes find a way to make the world better.
