Jayce's wish to be a firefighter

Jayce, 4 was born with kidney disease, and dialysis was often part of his young life. Then one day he saw a fire truck ride by with the sirens and his parents saw he loved them and would wish to be a firefighter.

Two years after Jayce’s vital kidney transplant his wish to be a firefighter was revealed at Wish Ball Detroit, Jayce was told to report to duty at the St. Clair Shores Fire Dept.

His mom Brittnei shared, “It's exciting to see him so happy, and to see him healthy and home and just enjoying life.” Jayce is treated at the Children's Hospital of Michigan.
