Make-A-Wish® Michigan Welcomes Two New Members to the Volunteer Board of Directors
Southfield, Mich., October 2024 - Make-A-Wish® Michigan, the nation’s most trusted nonprofit organization, is thrilled to announce the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors:

Kelley Kostich, PhD, RN, NE-BC
Kelley Kostich is a highly accomplished healthcare leader with extensive experience in pediatric nursing and hospital administration. Currently, she serves as the Chief Nursing Officer at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan, where she provides strategic leadership for patient care, quality improvement, and organizational growth. Kelley’s career spans over two decades in which she has held various leadership roles at top-tier healthcare institutions, including SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and BJC HealthCare in St. Louis. In addition to her professional roles, Kotisch is a published researcher, with work focusing on nurse management and patient care. She has presented at national healthcare conferences and contributed to the advancement of nursing practices across the field.
Kendall Meijer
Kendall Meijer is a passionate supporter of Make-A-Wish Michigan and has demonstrated that commitment through her service as an active volunteer of our Leadership Advisory Council (LAC). In her work with the LAC she promotes the overall mission of the organization through fundraising, recruiting volunteers and raising awareness. Meijer directly supports and advocates for highly personalized wish enhancements and adds her time and leadership to coordinating an annual summer benefit event – Saddle Up for Wishes – raising $70,000 since its inception. With a considerable voice and presence with the LAC and the young professional community in West Michigan, Meijer’s visible, steadfast passion for MAWMI is extremely inspiring and influential to continued support both through fundraising and awareness efforts.
