Dear Friends, 

This year marks the 40th Birthday for Make-A-Wish® Michigan! Since our first Michigan wish was granted to Joshua in 1984, we have made transformational wishes come true for nearly 12,000 Michigan children battling critical illnesses. I am so grateful to serve this mission alongside a passionate staff team, amazing volunteers and supporters, and incredible medical partners who make wishes possible. Thank you for the love, care and compassion you show to our wish kids. Your unwavering commitment to bringing joy, hope and healing into the lives of our wish kids and families through the power of a wish is truly inspiring.  

During this milestone year, we will grant 500 wishes to Michigan kids – the most in our chapter’s history! I’m excited to announce a magical experience being planned for our Birthday. We are sending 40 wish kids to their favorite Florida theme park for an unforgettable week full of special surprises this summer. And we will also host local celebrations during the year with wish kids, medical partners and community supporters.
