Make-A-Wish® Michigan adds three members to the volunteer Board of Directors 

Brighton, Michigan, November 2021 – Make-A-Wish® Michigan is pleased to announce three new board members were recently elected to the organization’s volunteer Board of Directors:    

  • Jon Albert, CEO, Michigan Head & Spine Institute 

  • Noble Billingsley, Manager Customer Strategy, Greater Michigan, DTE 

  • Luanne Thomas Ewald, COO, Michigan Medicine, C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital 

Jon Albert 

Albert, of Royal Oak, is a strategic healthcare leader with 14 years of experience. As CEO of Michigan Head and Spine Institute, Albert is a strategic healthcare leader with a focus on directing and designing integrated patients. As a former wish kid himself, Albert previously served as a former wish-granting volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana chapter and as a volunteer board member with the Mississippi chapter. 

Noble Billingsley 

Billingsley, of Ada, has worked in the utility industry in customer service as well as gas and electric operations management for 30 years. Today, he is the Manager of Customer Strategy, Greater Michigan, for DTE. In his role, he is responsible for the customer service center operations for Cass City and Grand Rapids. A celebrated leader for his support on nonprofit boards, Billingsley also serves on the board of directors for the American Association of Blacks in Energy, Michigan chapter, as well as the Junior Achievement of West Michigan.  

Luanne Thomas Ewald 

Ewald, of Royal Oak, has 28 years of experience in the hospital and healthcare industry. She currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Michigan Medicine, C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. Ewald is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and has served on ACHE’s Regents Advisory Council. She is the current Chairman of the Michigan Hospital Association Council on Children’s Health. In 2020, she was appointed to the American Hospital Association’s Council on Maternal and Child Health.
