This World Wish Month, in honor of the wish that inspired the creation of Make-A-Wish^®, join us by walking or rolling anytime from April 25-26. Your participation in Walk & Roll For Wishes will support Make-A-Wish^® Massachusetts and Rhode Island and help us move closer to our vision of granting a life-changing wish for every medically eligible child in our two-state community.

Participants are invited to walk or roll 2.9 miles anytime between April 25–26, wherever it works best for you! Teams can also opt to join at one of our regional walking hubs. Stay tuned for details on those in-person locations!

Why 2.9 miles? This distance pays tribute to April 29, the date of the granting of the wish that inspired the creation of Make-A-Wish. Seven-year-old Chris Greicius' wish to be a police officer, fulfilled on April 29, 1980, in Phoenix, Arizona, united his local community and sparked the idea for Make-A-Wish. April 29 is now celebrated as World Wish Day in honor of Chris and his wish.
