Wish child Miraya in the studio surrounded by bright ballloons as she films her music video for her wish

Miraya loves music and writing. During her 2 1/2 years of leukemia treatment, she began to combine her two interests to write rap songs. Miraya wished to make a music video for her original rap, "Video Games" and her wish was granted through generous collaboration from Beatbox Studio and HAUS, both out of Pawtucket, RI. Wish child Xavier and his dad together in Xavier's pool

The swimming pool Xavier wished for is important for so many reasons. For a child who spent nearly two years hospitalized on a ventilator, the pool represents freedom and strength. Most importantly, it provides Xavier, who is nonverbal, with a new way to connect with his family and friends to make joyful memories.

Wish kid Harrison in his Make-A-Wish blue t-shirt sitting on the porch of his treehouse

Harrison wished for a treehouse for sleepovers with his friends and pictured a porch for games with his family. The blueprints were created by a team of professionals to make his vision a reality. Harrison, now in remission from a brain tumor, watched the crew nearly every day, his anticipation building as his treehouse took shape as a space for carefree play.
