Jasper spent the first 119 days of his life in the NICU as his medical team worked to determine the cause of his chronic respiratory failure. Once he was stable enough to go home, Jasper almost never left the house except to go to doctor’s appointments. Jasper’s family had no idea that he would even be eligible for a wish and now, they attest that his wish for a playset has been life-changing.
 

As RJ, 10, was undergoing treatment for Hodgkin lymphoma, he liked to watch animal videos. He has always especially loved exotic birds and watching trainers work with them. RJ’s wish for a parrot helped celebrate the end of his cancer treatment and will continue to bring him joy, companionship, and excitement for the future as he and his parrot, Zeus, grow up together.
