The 2025 Make-A-Wish Gala
Thank you, WishMakers!
The 2025 Make-A-Wish® Gala raised over $1 million, which will grant the wishes of more than 80 local children in the coming months. Your generosity will bring transformative joy, hope, and strength to these children and their families, and we are grateful for this outstanding support. Thank you to all who joined us at SoWa Power Station on April 5, 2025, to celebrate the power of our committed and compassionate Make-A-Wish community.
With emcee Linda Dorcena Forry leading the evening, we met wish recipients Marcus, Colin, Natalia, Jose, and Violet, and wish parents Marisa Boidi and Stephanie Bello shared their family's Make-A-Wish journeys, reflecting on the lasting impact of a wish. Congratulations to our Wish Hero Award honoree Brown Brothers Harriman and our Community Hero Award honoree Cottage Park Yacht Club, both of which have provided longstanding support to sustain our organization. We thank all of our Make-A-Wish Gala sponsors; our program participants, including special performers the Harlem Wizards and magician Paul Gertner; our auctioneer John Terrio for a high-energy auction and Fund-A-Wish; and our Make-A-Wish Gala Committee, in-kind supporters, and event volunteers who contributed to the event's success in so many ways.
