Become a volunteer event organizer by hosting a fundraising event to benefit Make-A-Wish® Maine. Community and corporate events raise awareness of our mission and bring the community together to support our children's wishes.
Examples of commonly held community and corporate events include:
- Sporting tournaments and athletic competitions
- Golf tournaments
- Office dress-down days
- Change (penny) drives
- Banquets or dinner dances
- Social media contests
- Motorcycle rides
- 5K walk/run
- Comedy nights
- Music performances/concerts
We encourage hosting fun and creative events that will provide the best outcome for you and your community. We will support from start to finish along your event and fundraising journey, helping you to captivate and inspire your community to give back!
Stream [FTW]
Not able to meet in-person? Take advantage of our unique virtual fundraising program with Stream [For The Wishes]. Utilizing the Tiltify platform, charity streaming allows individuals or groups to broadcast themselves online live or use pre-recorded video while simultaneously fundraising for Make-A-Wish.
