Tournament of Roses® to Help Grant Make-A-Wish Child’s Wish to be a Princess; Six-year-old to be Coronated by Royal Court

Tournament of Roses® volunteer members and the Royal Court will grant six-year-old Rose’s wish to be a princess with a grand royal coronation. The day will include a makeover complete with a custom princess dress, a carriage ride through Pasadena, a Pasadena Police Officer escorting her as Prince Charming, a royal tea party and throngs of well-wishers who will be cheering as she greets her royal subjects.

WHO: Wish kid Rose suffers from a rare genetic disorder called Sanfilippo Syndrome, which primarily affects the brain and spinal cord. She is also autistic and has cognitive developmental delays, which further affect her quality of life. Rose has always loved princesses and waving to people, which made being a princess for a day and waving to her subjects the perfect wish! Make-A-Wish Greater LA is thrilled to join the Tournament of Roses in granting this unique wish. The community is coming out to support Rose’s special day in Pasadena including Make-A-Wish volunteers, staff, board members and supporters.
