Sebastian likes video games, building things and being with his family. When he was diagnosed with leukemia in 2020, his family support was key to his continued progress and beginning recovery.

While he was in and out of Loyola University Medical Center for his scheduled treatments, he would talk with his family about looking forward to summer and all of the places they could camp.

He was ready when Make-A-Wish volunteers talked with him about a wish – he wanted a travel trailer with a kitchen. The kitchen was very important because Sebastian loves to make pancakes with his grandma.

In a joyous day this winter, Make-A-Wish Illinois granted his wish with a celebration including his family and friends. His strength is returning, and he is ready for new adventures!
