CHICAGO — Wish Ball, an exciting evening that brings WishMakers together in support of Illinois children with critical illnesses, returns to Navy Pier on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Featuring a performance by comedian Dana Carvey, this inspirational and entertaining black-tie event supports the organization’s mission to grant wishes.

Emmy-award winning actor and comedian Dana Carvey is best known for his iconic and indelible SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE characters – most memorably Church Lady, Grumpy Old Man, several political figures, Hans, of the Hans and Franz body building duo, and of course Garth – Mike Myers’ “excellent Co-Host” on the classic sketch turned feature film, WAYNE’S WORLD and WAYNE’S WORLD 2.
Currently, you can hear Dana on his chart-topping hit podcast FLY ON THE WALL which he co-hosts with friend and comic David Spade, and voicing several characters on the animated show MULLIGAN, produced by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock.
