Celebrating 40 Years of Wishes
For 40 years, Make-A-Wish Illinois has been fueled by the hope we give our kids, granting more than 19,000 wishes across the state since 1985. With support from WishMakers who make an impact as volunteers, donors and partners, Make-A-Wish Illinois works to share the power of a wish® with a vision to reach every child with an eligible condition. Until every wish is granted, we will continue to do it for the love of our wish kids, and for the countless lives a single wish can change.
Where Are They Now?
For wish kids, the impact of a wish experience often lasts longer than a day or a week, it is a journey full of hope from the time they are referred to well beyond the wish.
