Every moment has unlimited potential for magic. At Wish Ball 2024 guests can discover how they will Make Magic Moments to help transform lives for Illinois wish kids. Wish Ball returns to Navy Pier on Saturday, May 18, 2024. Featuring a performance by renowned comedian Jim Gaffigan, this elegant event supports the organization’s mission to grant life-changing wishes to Illinois children with critical illnesses.

In addition to a heartfelt testimonial on the power of a wish from an alumni family, wish ambassadors will be on hand to greet guests and share their personal wish stories. Guests can bid on the spectacular possibilities offered in the live and silent auctions and join a spirited dance party after the celebrity performance.
Jim Gaffigan is known around the world for his unique brand of humor, which revolves around his observations on life. He is a seven-time Grammy nominated comedian, actor, writer, producer, two-time New York Times best-selling author, three-time Emmy winning top touring performer, and multi-platinum-selling recording artist.
Val Warner of ABC 7 Chicago will serve as emcee of this inspirational and entertaining evening.
Funds raised through Wish Ball help to ensure that every wish child can have a meaningful wish, an experience that research shows contributes to physical, mental, and emotional health.
