A Look Back at Wish Ball 2022
Attendees, sponsors and all who participated in the raffle and auctions helped raise more than $2.2 million for Make-A-Wish Illinois at Wish Ball 2022.
This incredible generosity will help thousands of wish kids throughout Illinois discover joy in the months and years ahead as they face the challenges that come with a critical illness.
Emcee Samantha Chatman from ABC 7 Chicago guided us through an exciting evening that included the Chicago Bulls Bucket Boyz and Benny the Bull, twisting and shouting with the Dibs Brass Band and the incomparable Martin Short.
Your support of Wish Ball empowers kids like our co-emcees, Mazie, Chase and Kennedy, to find hope in dark times and strength when they need it most. Wish ambassadors Alise, Azka, Ian, Kaylan and Makai enjoyed meeting so many supporters to share their own personal wish journeys.
Mission Speaker - Wish Mom Amanda Beedle
Wish parent Amanda Beedle shared the journey of her daughter Annabelle and their family as they navigate life after a rare disease diagnosis.
"A complicated medical journey affects the entire family. This beautiful sensory space has offered us all a place of respite and recharge," Amanda continued.
We ended the evening with a delightful performance by our featured celebrity Martin Short, who had the audience laughing out loud and even incorporated some of our guests into his act.
