World Wish Day

Join us on April 29 for World Wish Day, the 43rd anniversary of the Make-A-Wish® Foundation. To celebrate this momentous occassion, Make-A-Wish Idaho will be granting Maddex's wish to have a clubhouse. We will be celebrating Maddex's wish all month long, culminating in a Talent Contest on April 24 through 29.
About Maddex:
Maddex enjoys trains, monster trucks, big rigs, Nintendo, Paw Patrol, basketball and dogs. He entered the Make-A-Wish® Idaho pipeline during the pandemic and he's been waiting for his wish to have a clubhouse in his backyard. His family is moving onto a new property in Coeur d'Alene, and his clubhouse will be built on World Wish Day 2023.
Make-A-WIsh Idaho is partnering with Lilliput Play Homes to provide Maddex with a Lil' Rascal's Hideout which includes a loft, operable skylight, faux hardwood floors, a speakeasy door and custom signage. The signs will include fun messages like: "No trespassing," "All dogs welcome" and "no grownups allowed" written in a childlike hand. We're certain that Maddex will enjoy his amazing playhouse for years to come!
Talent Show:
The virtual talent show is now live! The Make-A-Wish Idaho Board of Directors, wish kids, wish family members from across the state have submitted videos of themselves demonstrating their hidden and sometimes not-so-hidden talents for the virtual show. Viewers can “vote” on their favorite videos with a donation. Make-A-Wish Idaho is hoping to raise at least $6,500, the average cash cost of a wish, during this fundraiser. All funds donated will go towards granting wishes to Idaho children with critical illnesses. The virtual fundraiser is open to the public and can be found at https://idahowish.afrogs.org/
