Workplace giving programs help provide employees with a simple way to donate to charities they care about.Â
There are many ways employees can contribute money, including through payroll deductions, joining workplace giving federations and participating in internal fundraising events. Workplace giving not only benefits the participating charities, but also employees who become engaged in giving back.Â
Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Idaho participates in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) as a member of Children 1st – America’s Charities*. The CFC workplace giving campaign includes all federal employees: civilian employees, military personnel and postal workers.Â
The campaign season runs from October through January this year and solicits approximately 4 million federal employees in 37 zones throughout the United States and overseas. Federal employees donate $200 million annually to support local, national and international community-service needs.Â
To help make wishes come true choose Make-A-Wish Foundation of Idaho CFC #91576Â through the online pledge portal as your charity of choice.Â
If your company's employee giving program only includes the United Way, look forl Make-A-Wish Idaho in the listing of charities.Â
If your local chapter is not represented, look for a "donor option" line on your giving campaign form and write in Make-A-Wish Idaho. Most local United Way programs allow donors to specify a charity other than one from their list of participants. Your local United Way will then forward your gift directly to Make-A-Wish Idaho.Â
