Since 1986, Make-A-Wish® Idaho has been creating hope for Idaho children with critical illnesses. During that time, we've granted over 1,800 wishes. In a typical year, we can grant nearly 100 wishes, but we can't create hope without you! Consider making us your Idaho charity of choice. 

A wish isn't just a nice thing to do for a sick child. A wish has power!  Wishes promote mental and emotional well-being for children and their families who are facing trauma stemming from a critical illness.

A recent Wish Impact study shows that wishes: 

• Increased hope, strength, joy, confidence, self-esteem, quality of life, and well-being.

• Served as a coping mechanism and a turning point during treatment.

• Brought families closer together and strengthened relationships with loved ones.

• Helped overcome traumatic stress, hopelessness, depression, and loneliness.
