Idaho Make-A-Wish granted a 17-year-old's wish Wednesday to get a new horse for rodeos and races.

Every Friday morning, 3-year-old Leo Martin and his parents have a picnic breakfast in their garage with the door up. Nibbling on bagels with cream cheese, they strain to hear the sound of the garbage truck coming down the street.

Three-year-old Leo Martin got the happiest surprise of his young life on Monday. He was living a wish come true riding in the cab of a Republic Services garbage truck, running the trash can prongs, visiting the landfill and the recycling center and ending it all with a whipped cream mustache.

It took a happy team of people to cause Emilee Wheeler’s “Make-A-Wish” to come true.
