Driven

Tyler is an accomplished athlete who has verbally committed to play basketball in college.

He's described as a quiet leader who is fiercely competitive, always pushing himself and his team to do their best. Unsurprisingly, Tyler is also a fantastic student, and his future has all the hallmarks of a bright one.

It didn't always seem that way. At the age of fourteen, Tyler was diagnosed with cancer, an illness that could have ended his athletic ambitions and possibly his life, but Tyler was determined to beat it.

"I already knew he was driven; this solidified it for me. He wasn’t going to stop living; he pushed himself to move, got out and kept being an active teen. He didn’t want people to feel sorry for him. He was committed to his team and supported them when he couldn’t play. His grades at school were very important to him and having a high GPA kept him focused," said his mom, Catherine.

Tyler's health has improved markedly over the last couple of years and his life is back on track. An avid outdoorsman, Tyler wished for a dirt bike so he could have a little fun before he goes off to college. His wish came true at Rexburg Motorsports where Tyler picked up a brand-new 2022 Kawasaki KX.
