Reese is an outgoing kid who can talk to anyone for hours, highlighting their kindness and ability to hold meaningful relationships with friends and family. Reese loves painting, jewelry making and spending their time creating elaborate LEGO structures. As much as Reese enjoys chatting with their friends and family, Reese also enjoys time spent in quiet settings relaxing and working on art.
Reese was diagnosed and started chemo shortly after. “My child is resilient and kind.”, Elizabeth, Reese’s mom said, “Reese has had the most amazing spirit throughout this whole journey.”
When Reese was deciding on their wish, a trip to Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California felt like a great fit for them and their family. Reese, their sister, and mom Elizabeth all boarded a plane to Santa Ana, and soon found themselves in sunny Southern California!
During the trip, they stayed at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, with access to the Wish Lounge inside Disneyland park and walking distance to Downtown Disney. The whole experience was nothing short of magical. “You are batting 100 on this trip!”, we were told during their wish experience.
The three of them had mealtime plans at Medieval Times- which included a dinner and even a medieval tournament show. Along with all this, Reese and their family spent a day at Universal Studios Hollywood. “We had a blast at Disneyland and got a much needed break before they all had to come back for midterm exams!”
Elizabeth, Reese’s mom, tells us her story, “When I was 17 I was granted a wish by the Make-A-Wish foundation. I was a wish granter for three years. Never did I think that I would be going through this process again. Reese deserves this wish. Reese is a fighter and my hero.”
