I wish to have a truck makeover

Anywhere He Wants to Go
Uriel, known to his friends as Oody, is a relaxed, chill kid who enjoys watching TV and eating dinner with his family. For fun, he rides his bike, goes on walks, and plays soccer. His biggest passion in life is his truck, a 2010 Chevy Silverado.
When Uriel was diagnosed with a brain tumor, his relaxing life suddenly became stressful and frightening. In 2025, Uriel began chemotherapy that caused his hair to fall out. It was in January 2026 that he learned he was eligible for a wish.
After he was given the option to wish for almost anything, Uriel had one desire. He wanted to turn his beloved Silverado into his "wish truck." Some of the upgrades that he had in mind included new tires, a new bumper, a new grille, chrome on the mirrors and handles, and tinted windows.
To make this wish come true, Make-A-Wish® Idaho turned to the community for help. One of the people that answered the call was Chris King, the owner of King's Pro Tire. "I’m a car guy,” he said, “so when I was asked by Make-A-Wish Idaho to provide custom tires and wheels, I knew that I wanted to do everything in my power to turn his truck into his dream vehicle."
Uriel’s truck was moved from shop to shop by Apex Towing Company as upgrades were added to his vehicle. The team at Auto Express 208 put on a new hood, fixed the lights in the cab, and installed the bumpers and grille. Walker Audio Design put in a state-of-the-art sound system, a must for any teenager. Tire King Pro outfitted Uriel with the new tires and wheels, and the Sticker Mafia did the tint for the windows, another request by Uriel.
When the truck was finished, it was time to present the finished product to Uriel. Wishes granted in April tend to get extra fanfare because April is World Wish Month, a month-long celebration of the first wish which was granted in April 1980. So Make-A-Wish Idaho revealed the completed truck makeover at the Heap Herders Spring Fling Car Show in Caldwell, Idaho.
Uriel and his family arrived at the event in a stretch limousine. Uriel, now sporting a fresh growth of black hair on his head, hadn't seen his truck since he drove it in for its first set of upgrades. The Silverado, which sat beneath a balloon arch and had a bright blue bow affixed to the hood, was unveiled to both Uriel and the crowd. The audience cheered.
"Oh, hell, yeah," Uriel exclaimed. "Oh, my god," he repeated a couple of times between chuckles as he examined the sides of his vehicle and then the hood and the grille. People in the crowd encouraged Uriel to start the truck. His beloved Silverado roared to life. Uriel was smiling and laughing the entire time.
His family, friends, and the people who worked to make the wish possible gathered around the truck to take photos before Uriel drove it home and to anyplace else he wished to go.
