One month after being born, Paislee was diagnosed with a respiratory disorder that affects her lungs and digestive system. Twice a day, she uses a vest to keep her airways clear, and she must take a battery of enzymes daily. Her pancreas doesn’t function as it should, and these enzymes ensure that her body runs well.Â
Paislee has been commended for complying with her treatment and because of this, her exercise tolerance has been described as excellent. She looks forward to playing sports and participating in all manner of extracurricular actives, especially her wish trip to Hawaii!
In Hawaii, Paislee and her family attended Chief's Luau where they saw a fun- and fire-filled Polynesian show and feasted on a variety of Hawaiian dishes and desserts. They also took a relaxing evening cruise and watched the majestic orange sun set slowly over the gentle ocean waves.Â
