Make-A-Wish^® Idaho

Rathdrum, ID (9/30/25): Tommy LaRiviere of Rathdrum, Idaho, and his company LaRiviere, Inc. have made it their goal to help Make-A-Wish® Idaho grant one wish per month during 2026.  LaRiviere, Inc. has already contributed to several wishes in North Idaho and was formally recognized for its philanthropy at Make-A-Wish Idaho’s Serving Up Wishes gala and 40th anniversary celebration on September 17 where Tommy and his company were awarded the Community Support Award, an honor given to only one person or organization per year.

“As a man of faith, I truly believe that this organization does God’s work. There’s nothing more profound than to watch a group of people give a wish, give something to a parent that doesn’t maybe know where to turn all the time,” he said during his acceptance speech. “This is a special moment for us, for my team, for my children, and for my family.”

One of the wishes that LaRiviere, Inc. sponsored previously is Visalia’s wish to go to Disney World which is scheduled for January 2026. Visalia was crowned Princess for a Day by the North Idaho State Fair. Tommy met Visalia and her family there, and LaRiviere, Inc. subsequently adopted her wish.

"Tommy’s support, his company’s support, and the support of the entire community mean a lot to us and make the wish even more special,” said Erin, Visalia’s mom.

In the last year, Tommy has sponsored three wishes to go to Disney World and a wish to go to a concert through the Adopt-A-Wish program which allows donors and organizations to take a volunteer role in the wish-granting process. To learn more about Adopt-A-Wish, visit wish.org/idaho/adopt-wish.
