Eight-year-old Annika from Kahului loves all things pink and purple, butter slime, and Jollibee spaghetti. But behind her playful smile is a brave spirit—Annika recently battled cancer. When she learned she was eligible for a wish, Annika’s heart was set on celebrating her birthday at Walt Disney World®. She couldn’t wait to ride the TRON Lightcycle / Run rollercoaster, and when her wish granters, Becky, Jenny, and Keola, revealed that her dream would soon come true, Annika’s excitement was overwhelming. Her mom, Abegail, said the moment warmed her heart.

Annika’s wish was everything she dreamed of and more. She visited Disney parks, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. She met her favorite characters, watched spectacular fireworks, and splashed in the pool at Give Kids The World Village. The weight of cancer faded away, replaced by laughter and joy. 

“The wish meant a lot to us, and we are very grateful,” Abegail shares. For Annika and her family, this wish was more than just a trip—it was a celebration of resilience and new memories they will cherish forever.
