Walk for Wishes Returned!
Families gathered, a wish revealed, funds raised
In celebration of our 40th Birthday, we brought back Walk for Wishes, our signature family-friendly, peer-to-peer fundraising event. Presented by PlayStation, the event brought together wish families, volunteers, and community supporters for a spirited morning walk around California's Great America on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Together, we raised more than $115,000—enough to grant 11 life-changing wishes!
KRON4's Reyna Harvey served as the emcee and DJ Rob Reyes provided the tunes. The pre-walk program featured a surprise wish reveal for 7-year-old wish kid Bridget, from Aptos, who learned that morning that her wish to go to Disney World is coming true!
