This holiday season, bring joy.

As the new year approaches, we’d like to thank our donors for their support in 2020. Although many wishes had to be put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with your help we were still able to bring hope and joy to many critically ill children at a time when they really needed it—including 3-year-old Brooklyn who wished to have a new play structure in her own backyard.

If you have not yet made a gift this year or would like to give again, you can still donate by December 31 and ensure that no wish kids waits a day longer than necessary to experience the life-changing power of a wish. Donations by web, mail, telephone, or electronic transfer 

We welcome all donations via the following channels: 

• Credit card online – Visit our website to make a secure donation. Year-end gifts can be made online up until 11:59 p.m. on December 31. 
• Credit card by phone – Give us a call at 415-982-9474 to process your donation. Please note that credit card gifts need to be charged in 2020 in order to be considered a 2020 contribution. You may want to call a few days before the end of the year to ensure your gift is processed in time. 
• Donations by mail – Please make checks payable to Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area and send them to our address: 1333 Broadway, Suite 200, Oakland, CA 94612. Checks must be postmarked on or before December 31.
• Donations by electronic transfer – Give us a call at 415-982-9474 for more information. 

Please note: Our chapter office will be closed on December 24, 25, and 31 and it may be more difficult to reach us by phone on those days. 

Stock gifts 

To make a stock gift, please contact our office at 415-982-9474 for further information. It often takes several days at year end to complete a stock transfer, and stock must be received by December 31 to qualify as a 2020 gift. 

Car donations 

Wheels For Wishes turns your car donation into wishes for the local children of San Francisco and surrounding counties. Visit our website to learn more or call 1-855-622-9474 where they will take you through the entire donation process. 

Donate airline miles 

Although many of our travel wishes are on hold right now, we will need airline miles once we can safely grant those wishes again. Find out more information about how you can donate your airline miles.
