Partner with us
Together, with your employees, customers, and communities, you can make the impossible possible. Read on below to learn more about how your company can get involved with Make-A-Wish. For more information on Corporate Giving opportunities please contact Chief Development Officer, Kathleen Backus at [email protected].
Help us underwrite the cost of a specific wish at our chapter’s average wish cost of $10,000 and see first-hand the impact your company is making for a child in our community. We will provide photos and an inspiring wish story, which you can share with your team and constituents how your donation made a difference in a family’s life.
Sponsor one of our signature events, which attract anywhere from 150-600 people, in-person or virtually. Sponsoring a Make-A-Wish event is a great way to publicly align your company with one of America’s most recognizable and loved charities, expose your team or clients to our wish families, fellow supporters, and most importantly, help us grant more wishes.
Motivate your work force and get them involved. Allow them to turn unused vacation hours into donations, take donations directly from their paycheck, or assist us through our volunteer program.
Get your workforce involved with our cause. An employee giving campaign is a great way to raise funds for Make-A-Wish and can include allowing employees to make donations directly through payroll deduction, turning unused vacation hours into a donation, or donating their time through our volunteer program.
Tap into your company’s culture and goals, align it with the incredible Make-A-Wish mission, and let’s come up with a unique promotion that speaks to your customers and engages your employees!
Prior to the pandemic, 70% of all wishes required airline travel–not just for the wish child, but for the entire family. That translates to almost 1,000 round-trip flights needed for our chapter, alone.
Most national airlines allow you to donate frequent flier miles and loyalty points to Make-A-Wish® without them ever expiring. Your company could conduct an airline mile drive to raise miles for wish travel, which helps us extend resources to other areas of wish-granting.
Does your company provide any goods or services that can help make wishes come true? We are always looking to partner with companies that can provide in-kind support to help cover some of our wish costs.
Examples may include (but not limited to) contractors for playhouse wishes, landscape architects for backyard makeover wishes, gaming equipment, meals for wish enhancements, or gift cards for shopping spree wishes.
