In 2024, our chapter turned 40 and we celebrated 40 years of wish granting. This summer, we’re marking another incredible milestone: granting the 10,000th wish since our founding in 1984. That’s 10,000 moments of hope, strength, and joy for children facing critical illnesses—and it’s all because of you. 

Each wish represents a powerful collaboration between our donors, volunteers, staff, medical partners, and community supporters. Whether it’s becoming a paleontologist, meeting capybaras, going on a trip to Disney World, or attending a baseball game, every wish is a reminder that joy can shine even in the darkest of times. 

As we celebrate this remarkable achievement, we’re also looking ahead to the next 10,000 wishes. Right now, hundreds of children across our 17-county territory are waiting for their wishes to come true. We need your help to reach them.
