The Trailblaze Challenge is both a physical and philanthropic challenge. Hikers come together for a weekend-long experience centered around the 26.2 mile hike throughout the terrain of Bear Mountain in ONE DAY! This is a hike, not a race, and caters to all levels from novice to advanced outdoor enthusiasts. 
 
As well as being an extraordinary physical test, the real challenge is to raise much needed funds to grant the wishes of children in Connecticut with critical illnesses. A wish gives children renewed energy and strength, brings families closer together and unites communities. 
 
By supporting the Trailblaze Challenge, you will help Make-A-Wish Connecticut grant wishes to every eligible child this year.  Trailblaze will take place September 6-8.

Walk For Wishes^® is a nationwide Make-A-Wish^® fundraiser that celebrates the more than 300,000 wishes that have already been granted, while raising funds for future wishes.
